2. Have you shipped my order?

We will send you a tracking number (for US shipments), or at least an e-mail that the shipment has been mailed. The typical turnaround time is 3-10 business days for U.S. Credit Card/Paypal orders.

Before contacting us, check your junk e-mail or spam e-mail box for mail that may have been inadvertently redirected.

3. How long will it take for you to ship my order? And is it possible that "the Flash" can bring me my shipment?

Although he would love to personally deliver your shipment, "the Flash" is out helping innocent bystanders with the Justice League and is unable to custom deliver your order. (besides, he has had a lot to deal with, having to dewal with that whole speed dimensional thingie). 

The typical turnaround time on U.S. orders is 3-10 business days and most orders ship on Saturday and Monday. Larger orders may take longer to ship. Foreign insured orders usually ship within 2 weeks, since we have to specially handle these orders. You will receive an e-mail when your order ships.

Before contacting us, please check your junk e-mail or spam e-mail box for any correspondence that may have been inadvertently redirected.

4. Why am I not receiving your e-mails? Has "the OMAC" intercepted my correspondence?
The Oracle is working diligently to get all correspondence out to you. But on occasion, a Spam filter will catch our e-mail.

Due to the increase in spam and e-mail viruses, e-mail service providers have tightened their filters in the attempt to block as much spam as possible.

If you are not receiving any tracking e-mails, make sure that e-mails from the domain outlandstation.com are not being filtered to your junk or bulk folder. Please add this domain to your list of trusted senders.

1. Check your filtered e-mail. Some spam is stored and available for your review. A periodic check of these items will allow you to unblock the sender and allow future e-mail delivery. Some ISPs, however, may automatically delete junk e-mail.

2. For Outlook users, add info@outlandstation.com to your "Safe Senders" list.

3. For AOL, place the domain outandstation.com in your address book.

4. For Hotmail, place the domain outlandstation.com in your address book.

5. Yahoo! Mail. If one of our e-mails is filtered in your bulk folder, open the message and click the "this is not spam" link next to the "From" field.

6. If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP's tech support and specifically ask how you can you be sure you receive all e-mails from outland.com. Follow their instructions.

5. Can I pay with my Credit Card? And how do I know it is safe to submit my information?
Payment must be made through our Paypal Service.

NOTE: All orders placed for pickup must be prepaid by credit card before the order can be processed.

During the order process, if you choose to make your payment by credit card, you will enter a secured area of our web site. (A key, lock, or chain may appear in your browser's status bar to show that you are in a secure area.) In this secure area, your information will be encrypted and processed. But if you would like to submit your credit card information over the phone, simply email us with your contact information at customerservice@outlandstation.com and we will gladly give you a call.

6. Is your web site secure? How do I know a Super-villain is not lurking around the corner?

The secure server we have chosen is among the best in the business. They use the latest SSL secure encryption technology. So you can rest easy knowing that your orders are placed on a secure server.

7. Can I make a payment By Money Order or Check?

If you wish to make an alternate form of payment (which is not available thorugh our site), please submit your request via E-mail to: orders@outlandstation.com , and we will contact you to discuss other payment arrangements.

PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR ORDER NUMBER ON ALL CORRESPONDENCE.

When you pay by money order, your order will ship immediately upon the arrival of your money order.

If you pay by check, your order will be held until your check clears (10 days to three weeks).

8. How are my Shipping costs and options determined?

We have tried to simplify our shipping methods best as possible and as economical as we could find. And based on our experience, we have found that the USPS offers the best service at the most affordable rate.

 

Shipping Charges are determined by the Total Cost of your order and shipped by the United States Postal Services. Please refer to our Shipping Policies for more details.

10. I live near the store. If I see something I would like to purchase on your website but would rather pick it up personally from your store, can I do that?

We do offer a store pick-up option which allows you to order and pay for your purchase on-line and pick it up at our store location in South Miami.

However, not all items listed on Outlandstation.com may be available for sale at the Store Location. Many items are kept at our fulfillment center; and if desired, your product can be easily dropped off at the store for your convenience. Please contact us by email at orders@outlandstation.com with your request.

11. What happens if my order is lost or damaged?
Outland Station is careful about packing and using sturdy shipping cartons. So it's rare that a parcel gets damaged. But the delivery people can lose a package and their machines can crush them. If that happens, we will get a quick trace to determine the status of your package. And if we can't find it, we will ship you a replacement. If an item arrives damaged, report the damage and we'll correct matters to your satisfaction.

12. If I buy a lot of stuff can I get a discount? After all, I do business with Lex Luthor every once in a while, and he slides me a deal from time to time.
In an effort to keep prices low, Outland Station does not offer discounts on larger orders. Although we always appreciate larger orders, we cannot offer any special pricing at this time.

We consulted with Bruce Wayne over this issue; he felt it would be fair practice to offer competitive prices over discounts. But please feel free to look over our featured sale items, you'll find many great deals there!

As far as Lara is concerned, she's out in Africa somewhere digging a tomb. Besides I think she's dating that "Brad" guy.

14. How do I know if my comics are First Printings or Reprints?
All collectible comics (back issues) are original first printings unless otherwise noted.

15. What is comic book grading?
Comic grading is simply rating a comic book based on its condition. Books that have no defects such as folds, tears, coupons out, water stains are more highly sought after by collectors than books that have these defects. A comic is graded by the following grades (in descending order): Mint, Near Mint, Very Fine, Fine, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor, and Coverless. Spawn #1 in Very Fine is considered better and more sought out than the same book in Good condition. Likewise, the price of a Very Fine copy is higher than a Good copy. Scott's Comics doesn't grade comics as "mint". Please be aware that on popular titles such as Sonic, X-Men, and Spider-Man, lower grade books sell faster than higher grade copies as collectors just want to complete their collection with reading copies.

16. What condition are your Action Figures and Other Collectibles?
All are in fine to mint condition unless otherwise noted. Otherwise we'd have J. Jonah Jameson all over our case!

17. How accurate is your inventory?
As accurate as we can make it, but there's always room for errors... afterall we havent't been biten by any radioactive spiders or hit by gamma radioation or anything like that. Maybe Brainiac could operate free of mistakes, but if there are any stock issues we will contact you directly to discuss the issue.

18. If you are out of stock on a book or item, do you put it on backorder?
Yes, we will do our best to get your out-of-stock product. However, if it's out of print... not much we can do about it. We will contact you about any issues with your back-ordered item.

19. What if I need to make Order Changes?
We process orders very quickly. In order to keep our order processing running smoothly and get your order to you as soon as possible, we cannot modify your order's contents once your order has been placed. This means we cannot do any of the following once you've placed your order:

Add or remove items from this order

Combine multiple orders into one order

Substitute one item for another

20. What if I am not happy with my order?
Any order or part of any order can be returned if not as advertised. If we sent an item in error, we will get you the correct product.

22. I'm adding books and they are not showing up in the shopping cart. What is wrong?

Chances are you are checking the boxes on the listing and then NOT pressing the "Buy Selected Items" button. You must press the "Buy Selected Items" button to add them to your cart.

23. What happens if you are unable to fullfill my order?
We will always endeavor to maintain an accurate inventory. However, when dealing with thousands of comics and related items, an inventory error may occur. Or we may receive pre-ordered items damaged from the publisher or distributors. Or we may not receive all the items we order. If these or similar circumstances occur, we will offer store credit or a refund at our discretion, dependant upon circumstances. We will not be held liable or responsible for any damages the customer may incur due to these or any other circumstances.

24. What happens if there is a pricing error?
We reserve the right to make necessary pricing adjustments in the event of a publisher, distributor or error in the advertised or solicited prices. In the event an error is made, we reserve the right to make an adjustment or to cancel an order, at our discretion.

25. What is your policy on Order Cancellations?
An order may be cancelled if we notify you that 20% or more of the items you ordered were not found when your order was pulled. Please note that our inventory consists of many, many items and that our database contains thousands of SKUs, most of which are available. While we strive to maintain an accurate inventory, it can never be perfect and unanticipated outages do occur.
